Stamp Naked - Deadline: Open
This book project is about pure rubber stamping, stripped down to the bare essentials, devoid of layers, glitter and goop, just rubber, paper and ink. It's also about the nude - artistic, beautiful, creative use of the human figure. Outstanding work will be published in a full color book.

The theme of this book is The Nude; it will be a full color, glossy, perfect-bound paper-back book. Size of the book is yet to be determined, as well as length - that will depend on the submissions. But... it will be a keeper, a showpiece, a thing you will want on your coffee table.
Inclusion in this book will be judged first and foremost on creativity. Then by technical prowess, and last but not least - adherance to the rules. The use of Meer Image rubber stamps is not required, but the sole juror is me, Steven Vander Meer. Will I be biased toward works that use Meer Image stamps? Probably, yes, but if your work is outstanding, it really won't matter - I will want it in the book.
The Positive Rules (these things will be accepted)
- original rubber stamped artwork on a flat surface, any length, any width, sent to me physically in the mail
The Negative Rules (these things will not be accepted)
- 3-D work of any depth (embossing is 3-D)
- collage (anything physically attached to your flat surface)
- layering (see collage)
- CAD (computer assisted design)
- pornography (overt sexual content)
- glitter (who needs it?)
The Other Stuff
- print and complete a copy of the form below for each piece of art
- in the form, credit all non-Meer Image stamps used
- entry fee: there is none, but you do have to buy your own copy of the book if you want one, as I will not be able to afford a free book for all - the price of the book will depend on the size and length, but will most likely be over $20.00
consideration: everyone who submits artwork will receive a free Stamp Naked rubber stamp. Folks who's work is included in the book will, in addition, receive a free signed and numbered rubber stamp that has yet to be designed. This rubber stamp design will feature a nude figure, and will not be released for sale until after the book is published, and all of the participants have received their stamp- for return of your artwork (optional): you must include an appropriately sized Self-Addressed-Stamped-Envelope (S.A.S.E.)
