Bus Stop (#200603)
This design came about during a life drawing session where the nude models were a couple. He set up the pose and told her to sit on his back and look like she was waiting for a bus. It was only a 2 minute pose so my first drawing was merely a scribble. Later I had them get back into the same pose so I could do some better sketches. I put a square border around them since the composition of figures is as tall as it is wide. The dotted lines show the arcs you would draw to form a perfect square, and they intersect each other right in the middle of her face, which is where the tip of the triangle would be if you could see it. I like the way human figures always seem to fit into geometry.
