Garage Sale was inspired by events at the 2006 Auntie Amy rubber stamp convention in Lincoln, Nebraska. There was a huge garage sale at the same location on the same weekend, as well as a pig sale, and a tractor pull and there was two feet of fresh snow on the ground. This took place in March, so while we were in Nebraska we traveled out to Grand Island to watch the sand hill cranes. Drawings from that trip should have inspired another stamp design - maybe they will someday.
