This has nothing to do with Easter. It's some kind of fish egg mass, each one is about the size of a BB or a bit smaller. The sea gulls were very interested. Are there any biologists out there that can identify it?

hard to say. some look like they're open. also they are very white. may fish eggs are clearish and you can start to see eye spots as the little feller develop.
